Saint Cosmas Saint Damian relic and document
great shape
Cosmas and Damian[a] (c. 3rd century – c. 287 or c. 303 AD) were two Arab physicians and early Christian martyrs.[3][4] They practised their profession in the seaport of Aegeae,[5] then in the Roman province of Cilicia.[6]
Cosmas and Damian were third century Arabian-born twin brothers who embraced Christianity and practiced medicine and surgery without a fee. This led them to being named anargyroi (from the Greek Ἀνάργυροι, "the silverless" or "unmercenaries"); by this, they attracted many to the Christian faith.[7] They reputedly cured blindness, fever, paralysis and reportedly expelled a serpent. They were arrested by Lysias, governor of Cilicia (modern-day Çukurova, Turkey) during the Diocletian persecution because of their faith and fame as healers. Emperor Diocletian, who favoured the worship of the Olympian gods, issued a series of edicts that condemned the Christians with the goal of eliminating Christianity from the Roman Empire.[8]
Saint barbara relic and document rare
Saint Barbara, known in the Eastern Orthodox Church as the Great Martyr Barbara, was an early Christian saint and martyr living in the Greek city Nicomedia, present-day Turkey, or in Heliopolis of Phoenicia, present-day Baalbek, Lebanon. Saint Barbara is often portrayed with miniature chains and a tower. As one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers, Barbara continues to be a popular saint in modern times, perhaps best known as the patron saint of armorers, artillerymen, military engineers, miners and others who work with explosives because of her old legend's association with lightning, and also of mathematicians. Many of her thirteen miracles turn on the security she offered that her devotees would not die without confessing and receiving extreme unction.

According to Christian tradition, the basilica was consecrated around 325 to house the relics of the Passion of Jesus Christ brought to Rome from the Holy Land by Empress Helena. Several famous relics are preserved in the Cappella delle Reliquie of the basilica, including a significant part of the Titulus Crucis, two holy thorns from the crown of thorns, a frangment (the tip) of the holy nail, the index finger of Saint Thomas and three relics from the wood of the cross.
